It's Halloween! I'm going to show you my costume in the next post.

Field Trip!

We went on this awesome field trip with our school(co-op) Quest.
That picture is of Mikhail on the tire tower.

there was a hay ride which was really fun because it was so bumpy!

I did not know the man had a beard! But Ivy's face is so cute!

There were cute donkeys and not as cute lamas that you could feed!

In case you don't know what that is I'll tell you, it's a "corn box"!And, No I don't mean a sand box!

We also got to milk fake cows.

Chickies!

I haven't posted in a while so I thought I'd show you how they've grown. I can't believe Pinochio made it but he found a clever way to eat, and he's getting so big(all we have to worry about now is the other chicks trying to fix his beak).

Houdini found a cozy spot to take a cat nap and enjoyed it tremendously!

I was tagged! O.k. here's the silly story : My little brother Vitali is super proud of being in kinder garten and so one day My little sister in pre-k broght out the garbage cans one by one and mom said that that was smart. Vitali goes up and says I am smarter than Ivy because I know what 1+3 is 6, and mom says Vitali 1+3 is not 6 and he says oh. 5 then.

She made it for her kid's birthdays and we still use it including the adults.

25 chicks!!!

25 adorable,cuddly chicks at our house I am so excited!!!

Poor little Pinochio has a deformed beak so I have to feed him.

They had been shipped from Iowa all the way down here to Tennessee so they were very hungry and thirsty.

Houdini

The chickens kept a close eye on Houdini our new cat every now and the crowing to show him who's Boss....If you ask me it didn't really work.

Indiana Jones kept a very close eye on him because he's the boss chicken and because Indiana Jones likes tuna fish!

Houdini is a very nice cat he lets Annette hold him upside down by his feet!

He is also a very fast cat he gets all blurry when he goes down hill or up a tree.

The boys got their hair cut like grandpa for his birthday!

Fairy House

This is Annette's fairy house. She likes to get it all decorated so I decided to help!

The finished Fairy House.
The table is made from half a sand dollar and an oyster shell.The table cloth is the same fabric as the bed and the vase is an acorn cap with some sweet peas in it.

The bathtub is made from a sea shell we found in Florida.

The bed is made from a piece of fabric from my collection and feathers that Annette had been collecting and some moss and two pieces of grass to tie the pillow together,The decoration pillows are flowers that Annette found across the road while picking black berries.

The buffet table is a big piece of bark,The bowls are acorn caps there is Mint salad,Corn with rice, and also a black berry pie with a cookie crumb crust and a tootsie roll top with a little bit of star burst. I think these fairies are going to have a great time!

John Quincy Adams....The chicken?

This is John Quincy Adams our new rooster.

He puts up with so much but you got to admit he does look very presidential in that flower necklace!!!

Operation: Clean my room

this is my room when it is not messy now put lot's of blankets,clothes,fabric and some towels on the floor and you've got my room while it's messy.Right now (not in this photo) it's messy so I rented a book from my church library on cleaning up your room it's called Making my room special and it's written by Emily Barnes.It has helpful ideas and hints and even crafts to make your room clean and organized. The ideas in this book really work so if your room is as messy as mine you should check a library and see if you can find this book!
